Most feedback tools try to do everything. They bolt on AI chatbots, help desks, ticket systems, knowledge bases, and live chat. Then charge accordingly. If all you want is a way for visitors to send you a message or answer a quick poll, you're stuck paying for a suite you don't need.
Hi Widget does less, on purpose. It gives you feedback forms and polls in a small, embeddable widget. One script tag on your site and you're collecting responses. No account for your visitors. No learning curve. No monthly bill that makes you wince.
It's built for founders, indie makers, and small teams who ship websites and want to hear from the people using them. No support infrastructure required.
What it does
Feedback forms. Visitors send you messages, ideas, or bug reports. You see them in a dashboard, add internal comments, and mark them read.
Polls. Ask a single question, show results (or don't). Good for quick validation before you build something.
Custom forms. Build your own fields with dropdowns, checkboxes, radios, and text inputs. Available on the Pro plan.
One script tag. Works on any site. React, Rails, WordPress, plain HTML. No build step, no npm package, no iframe to configure.

Sign up, name your widget, and configure your forms and polls from the dashboard.

Paste the script tag before your closing
</body>tag. The widget loads asynchronously and won't slow your page down. -
Read and manage responses
Every submission shows up in your dashboard. Add comments, track what's new, and export when you need to.
Pricing
The free plan gives you 3 widgets with default feedback forms. Enough to try it on a real project. Starter adds color customization, removes the "Powered by" badge, and lets you publish up to 3 widgets. Pro unlocks custom forms, polls, multi-domain support, and unlimited publishing.
No trial timers. No feature walls on day one. You can use the free plan for as long as you want.
